Returns & Refunds Policy

This Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Yaabu.com, operated by Hatchmatic Store. Our goal is to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for our customers.

15-Day Return & Exchange Window

We offer a 15-Day Return and Exchange Policy for most products.

  • Timeline: You must initiate the return or exchange request within 15 days from the date your order was delivered.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase (such as the order confirmation email or invoice) is required for all requests.

Eligibility Conditions for Return or Exchange

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet the following criteria:

  • Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it.
  • Packaging: It must be in the original packaging with all original tags, labels, and accessories intact.
  • Defective/Damaged Items: If the product you received is damaged, defective, or incorrect (not as described), please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographic evidence.

Non-Returnable / Exempt Goods

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are strictly exempt from being returned or exchanged unless they arrive defective or damaged:

  • Pet hygiene products, opened food, treats, and any other consumables.
  • Gift Cards
  • Clearance or Sale Items (unless specified otherwise)

Exchange Process (Size/Color Swap)

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color of the same product and the item meets the eligibility conditions (Section 2), please follow the steps in Section 6.

  • Processing: Once the original item is received and passes inspection, the replacement item will be dispatched.
  • Availability: Exchanges are subject to the availability of the requested size or color. If the requested item is unavailable, a full refund will be initiated instead.
  • Value: If the exchange is for a different product of a higher value, the customer will be required to pay the difference before the new item is dispatched.

Refund Process (Return for Money Back)

Once your return for a refund is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refund: The full amount of the product will be credited back to your original method of payment (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.).
  • Refund Processing Time: The refund will be processed and initiated within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.
  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven't received a refund within 7 business days, please first check your bank account again, then contact your payment provider. If the issue persists, contact us immediately.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Our Error: If you are returning a product due to our error (defective, damaged, or incorrect item), Yaabu.com (Hatchmatic Store) will cover the cost of return shipping or arrange for a free reverse pickup.
  • Change of Mind/Exchange: If the return or exchange is due to a change of mind (e.g., incorrect size selection, customer preference), the customer is responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  • Request Initiation: Email us at support@yaabu.com with the subject line: "Return/Exchange Request with Your Order Number".
  • Provide Details: In the email, clearly state your Order Number, the item(s) you wish to return, and explicitly state whether you want a Refund or an Exchange (and specify the size/color for the exchange). For damaged items, attach clear photographs.
  • Return Authorization: Our support team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RMA) and the detailed return shipping instructions/label (if applicable).
  • Dispatch: Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided with the RMA number.
